From the Director

Welcome to the 25th anniversary season of Bellevue Chamber Chorus!  As you can see from the concert details below, we’ll observe this special season with a year of continuous musical celebrations.  From our annual Messiah collaboration and a festive international holiday program, to an exciting vocal jazz gala, and culminating in our anniversary salute to the genius of Joseph Haydn, this is a season of joyous music to enchant, delight, and uplift you.

For indeed, we have much we want to celebrate with you, our faithful and supportive patrons...not only this significant milestone in the Chorus’ history, but also the continued artistic achievements and recognition the Chorus has earned recently.  Among these we are especially proud and honored to have won a first-place award this past July at the prestigious Kathaumixw International Choral Fesival in Powell River, B.C., and to have received so many favorable comments from audiences at the festival and during our performing tour of the province.  One listener sent us the following email after our return: Not only do I congratulate you on your performances and First Place award, but I want to thank you for the personal impact your singing had on me…Words cannot express how much I enjoyed the depth of emotion and the brilliant technical execution of your music.”

Above all else, this is what we invite you to celebrate with us again this season: the power of great choral music to touch our lives in ways that words cannot express. Join us for what promises to be a memorable anniversary year!
