From the Director
Welcome to the 27th season of Bellevue Chamber Chorus!
Once again we look forward to presenting a year of diverse
musical events for you to explore, experience, and enjoy.
For the holiday season, in addition to our annual
Messiah performance we offer a
fascinating program that explores the many moods of winter and
Christmas, with some absolutely exquisite music for you to savor in two
marvelous Eastside choral venues.
Next, we are very excited to collaborate in March with several
other area ensembles for a performance of the spectacular
Carmina Burana in the region’s
premiere concert hall. You’ve all
heard snippets of this famous piece in commercials or films; if you’ve
never experienced it complete and in person (and even if you have!),
this is one concert you definitely will want to put on your calendar!
Finally, it’s always a treat for us, and our audience, when the
wonderful Andy Carr Trio joins us for some tasty vocal jazz…this time to
enjoy many of the classic popular tunes of the ‘30s, ‘40s, and ‘50s.
So we invite you to come with us to explore, experience, and
enjoy the world of great choral music again this year.
